Rochester Road Reconstruction, Torpey to Barclay & Wattles, E & W of Rochester Special Construction Operations relating to the Rochester Road Reconstruction project:

The following construction operations will begin on Wednesday, August 4 at 9 am & end on Wednesday, August 25 at 3 pm:

Pavement construction will be completed at the intersection of Rochester and Wattles Roads. Because of this work, the following traffic restrictions will be required: Wattles Road will be closed to through traffic at Rochester Road. Local traffic only, east & west of Rochester Road, will be maintained on Wattles Road. No Wattles Road traffic will be allowed through the Rochester intersection and no Rochester Road traffic will be allowed to turn on to Wattles Road.

Advance warning signage, construction barrels, flaggers, etc. will be in place in order to facilitate traffic movements. Expect delays. Appropriate detour routes will be in place and the following roads shall be posted as detour routes: Big Beaver, John R, Long Lake, Livernois
